Millie Nixon

(she/her)

Exercise Physiologist + Group Instructor

Millie is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and Cancer Exercise Specialist with years of experience within oncology and women’s health populations. While owning and operating her own clinic in Gawler for over 5 years, Millie studied Exercise Oncology at ECU and became a Cancer Exercise Specialist with Ex-MED Cancer. With close ties to women’s health within the field of oncology, Millie became a strong advocate for women in all life stages to prioritise their health and wellbeing to be the happiest, healthiest and strongest version of themselves.

During this time, Millie also went through a personal diagnosis of PCOS and infertility before becoming a mum herself. This challenging time in Millie’s life was a strong driver to continue to pursue a career in women’s health and support women with exercise, no matter their exercise capacity to guide them to confidently implement movement into their daily life.

With an approachable and empathetic nature, Millie takes time with each client to help them understand their body and health to ultimately achieve their personal goals, often utilising Pilates repertoire in her exercise prescription. Millie also has a keen interest and experience working with fertility management and those affected by invisible illnesses, including POTS, CFS/ME, and HSD/EDS.

With her spare time, Millie can be found exploring her local area of the Barossa with her two young boys and husband, participating in a Pilates class, reading her way through all book genres or walking her cocker spaniel, Luna.
